Now I, SAI LU KYAW AM COMMMMIINNNGGG. Now, as I was saying, lets talk while we drink a cup of my organic, special Burmese tea. What would you like to talk about? Burmese history? Culture? Religion? In 2008, the Myanmar delta area was hit by cyclone Nargis and killed hundreds of people and left millions of people homeless. At Yoma, we hosted a buffet to all our customers and community to raise money, from that event we made about $7000. We donate 100% of proceeds to charities in Myanmar and here in the U.S.
Among those donations, we could not get receipts from some charities.
We would like to say thank you to all our customers, friends and media helping us to make our event successful.
